According to a Boston College podcast we also lead the nation in missed tackles. We need to clean that up too. Read the linked article which confirms it.

I expect we will have 10k at this game. That’s very disappointing given the size of our fan base. We should have had 20k. I hope our marching band will be there!

BC doesn't allow full bands, as a practice. For anyone. Probably so nobody shows up their pretty awful one.

Last full band in East Hartford? I want to say WVU in 2008.

You're probably right there. Although, from memory, the UMass band didn't travel to the game in the tropical storm. So that would be 2012, or last year.

I like Jim Mora but with NIL he needs to look in the mirror some. Our Offensive Coordinator position needs an upgrade and it usually doesn’t work well when a head coach is just focused on one side of the ball. The combination and the resulting sloppy play, coupled with rainy weather, made it difficult to get a buzz going about the team.

By tropical storm, if you mean the rain game loss to UMass in 2018 (aka the David Pindell has “small hands” game), the UMass band was definitely there. The UConn band was on one side of the stadium, UMass on the other and nobody else in the seats. Everyone else who attended that game was standing under the overhang.
 
I’ve been down on our team… I‘ve criticized the play calling, the coaching, the offense, the defense, you name it… I had bought all in on the “reload.”

I am over that now.

Beat BC and all is forgiven!!!! :)
