UConn Book Suggestion

I know that Geno and several former players have books out there. I am looking for some recommendations. Which have you read that you would recommend for a UConn fan?

by Mel Thomas...a diary of her senior year [2007-2008]...any UConn fan will love all the inside info.

Love Geno's book. I wish he would write another one covering the years since that one was written—which was long ago.

Same River Twice. Rich, behind the scenes look at a heartbreaking season.

All three of the above-mentioned books are excellent choices. My favorite is Mel's "Heart of a Husky". Second favorite is "The Same River Twice". Both have a lot of inside stuff you don't get in the regular media articles.

Some one should bundle the "UConn Undefeated" videos and use it as a great template for a book with so many opportunities for follow ups. The final chapter would of course include Paige, Azzi, Aaliyah, Caroline, CW and Liv.

Heart of a Husky should still be available on used book sites. I picked it up a couple of years ago. It's a great read.

There are plenty of them on ebay, including signed copies, some without personalization
