OMGosh! I loved it. Enjoyed her script and delivery.
She said many things that many Boneyarders have thought.
Not saying I completely agree with all she said. I haven't gone to a game in a couple years now, but I have attended many, especially at People's Arena or whatever it's called now, and witnessed a lot of the suits sitting with their hands under their ***s. The crowd often gets loud , but it's usually somewhat reactive to witnessing a good play.
Loosely related to this, I thought just hit me, this team often lacks the jump out of your seat plays that we've seen with other past UConn teams. Granted we've witnessed some big time 3 point shots at critical times this season. And we did have a couple of big dunks in the last game. But we're rarely seeing those alley oops and other thunderous plays that end in a dunk. I still don't know why Reed doesn't throw it down when he's right under the basket. He's plenty athletic to throw it down when he's on the run. I'm sure he has enough hops to go up and dunk it off his two feet under the basket, instead of simple off the glass shot. As I posted in another thread, two points is two points, but presentation counts when it comes to entertainment.
