My recommendation is to put some beers and maybe some sandwiches in a bag and look for a tailgate to join. There will be some UConn fans that are tailgating and some BC fans will invite you to join them.Any specific bar in Chesnut Hill for UConn fans pregaming?
Seconded, and if you don't mind bringing a styrofoam cooler you are willing to sacrifice even better. In the small parking area behind the south end zone stands where BC students sit there is a grass island where BC tailgates will be set up (have assumed they are big donors) but there should be enough room to put down your stuff. (See photo) As much I despise BC have always found the people to be congenial. Also, two years ago UConn had a pregame event in a large room at ground level in one of the nearby buildings. My recommendation is to put some beers and maybe some sandwiches in a bag and look for a tailgate to join. Our governor, a BC alum, and BC's Jerry York and others are the main reason UConn is in Hockey East. Yes, I know that Gladchuck black balled us. But he is gone and I personally have forgiven them even though you may not have.Seconded, and if you don't mind bringing a styrofoam cooler you are willing to sacrifice even better. In 2016 we did a bus trip to BC and the fans at the tailgate area were great. We ate some of their food and drank more than a few of their beers. After they smoked us 30-0, the students in the dorm areas we had to walk through were not as nice to us....not nice at all, but whatever. They were drunk college kids after a big win.Seconded, and if you don't mind bringing a styrofoam cooler you are willing to sacrifice even better. Gene DeFilippo and the college head in the 2000s (Leahy?) kept us out of the ACC. Yeah, whatever, the point stands, they are both gone. Leahy will do whatever the AD wants and as long as it can be shown that the risk of losing money is low. At the moment BC seems to be positive towards UConn.Gene DeFilippo and the college head in the 2000s (Leahy?) kept us out of the ACC. Both are long gone but the bitter aftertaste remains.
There will be plenty of tickets available on the secondary market. BC is scheduled to play Clemson and Notre Dame at home this year, so season tickets sold out. Clemson and ND fans will be selling and add in the fact BC is having a bad year and you can get tickets for $11 on StubHub.Any word on how tickets are working for the game? We’ll know what time kickoff is tomorrow. I see the UConn ticket website has a link to buy, has anyone gotten them through that? Hoping we take over Chestnut Hill like Fenway but I want to try and get in our away section for sure
Purchase 8 last week. The site only allows you to purchase 4 tickets. I called the ticket office to get the 8 tickets together and was told that larger groups were reserved for bigger donors. I then just got another member of our group purchase the other 4 . I am sure that we will not be that far away from the other 4 in the group.Any word on how tickets are working for the game? I'm sure someone will take you up but... but.. Flying in and crashing in is a bad mix. 😉Ill be flying from LA just for this game. Can anyone let me crash their tailgate?
For visiting fans, BC is one of the worst tailgating experiences you will experience in college football. Right now, there are 2 areas that are available to tailgate for the UConn game for ~$250 per spot: Comm Ave Garage (yes, a garage and no fires allowed) or Lower Brighton which allows full tailgating privileges. As for post game, you can tailgate for 1 hour after the game.I hear the tailgating setup there is the worst thing known to mankind. Very limited, awful traffic, no post-game, charge you near $200 per game, need to know a donor, etc.

That should be illegal lmao
I’d rather uber in and give my business to a local bar.For visiting fans, BC is one of the worst tailgating experiences you will experience in college football.
