Ollie may not be the best coach in the world, and maybe he needs to be replaced sometime in the near or more distant future, I don't know. What I do know is I'm not going to throw him under the bus right now based on one subpar season out of five, in my view, keeping in mind that I don't even count the season that just ended, because again, Wooden wouldn't have done any better with what we had to work with. To argue otherwise means you have to accept that Ollie should have taken us to the NCAAs with what, six or seven scholarship players for most of the season, and we should always make it to the Sweet 16 every single year?
