With the women winning another championship in the most dominant fashion I'm left with my jaw on the floor when I think of UConn's basketball dominance. It's even more staggering when you know nothing has really been in their favor along the way. I feel an immense sense of pride in what these two programs have given to the state, alumni, and fans around the country. It sounds corny but every time I fly into Bradley I get goosebumps looking at all the UConn basketball stuff hanging everywhere, it's just huge for the state University and the entire state.

The scary thing with the women is that as many great stars as UConn has had, it's quite possible Sarah Strong will knock someone off the Mt Rushmore. Have to think Geno will be here for three more years to watch Strong dominate. While I'm happy Azzi won best player of this tourney, I was expecting Strong to win it. She is unstoppable.

Spoiled? I'm considering the overall basketball three-peat for UConn and I'm thinking "It has been ages since both the men and the women won the same year." I like their chances over the next couple of seasons.

Amazing that as great as Fudd was (including the 19 in the first half in the semi), Strong clearly got robbed.

Sarah Strong is going to be the best UConn women's basketball player ever, which means she's going to be the best women's basketball player ever.
