The UConn basketball teams have more paying customers right now than you might imagine. Fans are not in attendance at Gampel Pavilion, of course. But season ticket holders who have opted to donate all or a portion of the price of their packages are helping the university’s athletic department plug financial holes in a season of closed doors and empty stands.
