UConn men’s basketball has a 3 headed monster in Karaban, Newton and Spencer. Although none are guards, and even with Castle out, these three guy are a nightmare of a backcourt to defend for any opposing team.

Foot and he played 30 minutes yesterday
Injury or not, it remains an open question how dominant Clingan can be or how much of a focal point he will be in the offense now that he's playing starter's minutes and being game-planned by the opponent. That's a big leap from doing it for 12-14 mpg as the 4th option.

I got a better one for you, were Sidney Moncrief, Marvin Delph, and Ron Brewer guards or forwards? Or was Magic a guard, forward or center?
Can Spencer is half a foot shorter than Magic. He will never play the 4 or 5.

Not exactly. Magic was between 6’ 7” and 6’ 8”when he played at Michigan State, which is only 3 inches or so taller than Cam.

Cam is 6’4” Tristen is 6’5”; neither are near the athlete that Magic was at 6’8”. Both are guards. Stop while you are behind.
Of course Magic and all the other guys he named were guards too. He's talking nonsense, I'm not sure why.

I missed the part where OP said Newton and Cam aren't guards. That is a HELL of a take.

I hope we aren't back this nonsense where real guards are 6' or under and dribble like Curly Neal. The truth is there's barely room left for those players anymore.

Most of last season many on this board insisted that Newton wasn't a real PG.

There will always be big guards and small guards, things haven't changed much. OP doesn't think Newton and Spencer are guards and then he named a bunch of big guards who played decades ago and asked if they're forwards or centers.

Not sure if he's trying to do performance art.
