UConn is up to #13 in the poll. At 40-8, they have the 2nd best record in the nation, behind the #1 orange team from Knoxville.

I saw them play on Saturday, an 11-3 win over Xavier. They are now 42-10.

It was the formal dedication of the new field, which is beautiful.

They are a very good team in every area. It is baseball at a very high level. Hitting is probably their strong suit, a deep lineup with lots of power. Team batting average is at .300. Left fielder Stock is hitting .400 and will probably be drafted high. The catcher, Donlan, hit a grand slam home run and threw a runner out at second from his knees.
