At what bars do all the UConn fans in NYC watch the games?

I'm trying to figure out a plan B if I can't get a reasonable deal off a scalper at MSG to get into tomorrows game.

I apologize if there are similar threads up, but I couldn't find any.

Thanks.

Once again, here you go. Old list, so some may no longer be serving suds. I stopped at Stout across the st from MSG for 2H today, and they had 90 big screens showing UConn.

*Park Avenue Country Club, Park Ave. South at 27th St. Very busy place but have all the games.

Mercury Bar, 3rd Avenue between 34th and 35th St. Another on 9th Avenue at 45th St?

Harrison's Tavern, Amsterdam Ave. at 77th St. Big Red Sox bar, perhaps with BCU jokers.

Hairy Monk, 3rd Ave at 25th St. Red Sox sanctuary.

The Riviera Cafe, West 4th St. at Seventh Ave. Red Sox friendly bar.

The Gin Mill, Amsterdam Ave. between 81st and 82nd St.

Scruffy Duffy's, 8th Avenue between 46th and 47th St,

Copper Door Tavern, 3rd Avenue between 21st and 22nd St.

The Gym. 167 8th Ave (18-19th St) BC fans?

Ship of Fools. 2nd Ave (82nd and 83rd St)

Standings. &th St (2nd & Bowery)

Stout 33rd (6th – 7th Av)

Mad River. 82nd & 3rd Ave

O’Reilly’s Townhouse. 21 W. 35th between 5th and 6th Avenue Phone # 502-5246

The only Uconn bar in NYC tomorrow between 12pm and 2pm is named Madison Square Garden. You're bar tab will be the price of tickets. Syracuse has had two weeks to plan for this game, so they'll have a lot of fans. We need all the Uconn fans we can get in there.

Might as well pin this thread. This question comes up every other game.

What's the best way to go? Take a train? And then try to scalp tix? I am hesitant to just go with a ten year old but heck I don't have enough spontaneity in life! Will I know where the heck to go once I get off the train?

Just buy tickets from the street brokers on 7th Ave, right near MSG. If you dont trust those guys use Stubhub.com

Ive bought Knicks tix from them. They are reliable and suprisingly professional.
