I thought all of the same above when reading between the lines.

Last question about the $4.95 to subscribe was a big fat no.
I'll be taking that money and buying an android device to stream through my Chromecast to watch the games, and movies, through pirate sites.

Yeah I told them I don't pay for the special over the top services like HULU, Netflix or ESPN+ which I don't since I get Netflix for free with my T-mobile family plan. Definitely a big no for $5/month fee for ESPN+ to see exclusive UCONN sports.

I just want to get out of this conference A.S.A.P. as this is going to be the death knell for the program.

Do em a favor and tell answer that you don’t have wifi and don’t buy over the top services.

That’s their argument...
I’m totally against this AAC (apparent) agreement with ESPN and their $4.99/month streaming service and answered the survey accordingly. Prior to the survey I had written to AD Bennett making my feelings known including the apparent disruption in the SNY/UConn broadcasting relationship. This new broadcast arrangement, in my opinion, doesn’t favor Uconn and Uconn fans as much as it favors other AAC schools which currently enjoy less TV exposure and less national stature and exposure as the UConn program. I believe if this goes forward it will have a negative effect on UConn sports and future fan support /loyalty.
