That press still haunts me.
Edwards was instrumental in breaking any press, but if you remember she spent a significant amount of time on the bench with early foul trouble. It would have been less ugly with her in the game. (This does not excuse the other 5 players who were on the court.)

Not enough ball handlers before. That’s not a problem this year or going forward
Fully agree with a few more adjectives (not that you need any help here):

We now have calm ball handlers who pass crisply before they become double teamed, and that trend shall continue for the foreseeable future.

Sarah Strong might be the key in breaking the press this year, as she is fully capable of staying in the game for all 40 minutes without being in foul trouble [16 fouls in 11 games with 28.7 mins per game].

Her ability to anticipate the incoming pass and know what WILL be open next, is second only to PB with Chen not so far behind.

Does this mean that we're dropping a current OOC opponent????
Maybe Holy Cross or Fairleigh Dickinson...

If UConn gets enough perennial powers signed to home & home series, the Yearly Schedule can be out by mid-September or earlier each year, :):D:).

Go Huskies!!!

Maybe we should get one of those.:)
Fisher’s scout starts with her ability to generate paint touches in a pinch. The 5’8 guard is constantly in attack mode, leveraging her explosive first-step and handle as a driver. Fisher is also dynamite on inside hand scoop finishes.

“With my speed, I know when to stop and go,” Fisher on her driving ability. “I try to be patient [and] attack the gaps that I see.
