Anyone think that the loser on this round to get into the ACC will just get in on the next round, and it will happen sooner, rather than later?
 
I think it is possible that UConn would get in in the future. for Louisville, i think it is unlikely. Hence their public campaign. If they get left behind their only hope is that the B-12 expands and takes them and not say,Florida State & Clemson. I also think that is the direction they have been pursuing while UConn has been pursuing the ACC. But now that the ACC has an opening while the B-12 is, at least momentarily, standing pat, they are in a bit of a panic mode.
 
Who knows, maybe. UL fans on Twitter want this weekend's game to be an ACC play-in game. I'd prefer to use a more relevant, just as arbitrary, nationally televised, big stage game as the play-in game. How about this:

And after every crowd reaction to a UConn basket, those UL fans can keep telling themselves that 3,500 people showed up to the Fiesta Bowl, which isn't even true.
