We might as well hold tight, grab a Snickers bar and wait this thing out.
The folks in Greensboro aren't even going to think about adding UConn without trying to lure a football superpower alongside us first: a Notre Dame, A Texas or a Penn State. If they don't at least make the effort to do this, they run the risk of losing one or more of their own football-first schools to the SEC (despite the recent exit-fee increase, which was just a carrot to get Pitt/SU to bite, imho).
Swofford has to do his due diligence to keep FSU/VT/Clemson happy; he owes them that much. When the main targets all turn him down as expected, he'll move on us and 'settle' for Exit 9. We just have to wait for things to play out, that's all...
