UConn Alum, Sarah Thomas, 4 Straight English Channel Swims!!

So close to reaching Dover!!! She swam across the English Channel and decided to just turn around and go back to England.
And when she finished her return she turned around and swam back to France.
But wasn't done!!! She is now soooo close to England and a 4th consecutive Channel Crossing!!!

Mindblowing when you think she battled breast cancer two years ago.

Swimming across the Channel is actually a pretty coordinated event - there are rules you need to follow for an official swim. One of those rules is that you need a pilot boat. She would have had a few crew members in the pilot boat keeping an eye on her and making sure she gets some nutrition down.

They usually drink a carbohydrate drink tossed to them in a sports bottle.
