We disagree on this. The Wade Trophy is selected by the WBCA. It has been around far longer than the Naismith Award for women, which is chosen by a group of sportswriters.
Indeed. People consider Naismith to be the most prestigious award simply because of the name "Naismith". If you look at what goes into each award and judge the awards that way, Naismith would be the least prestigious. This is no reflection on the players would have won the award. It's my opinion on what goes into the award compared to other awards.

I agree. The Wade Trophy is a women's-only basketball trophy, and was considered the most prestigious until they blocked Paige Bueckers from winning it due to an outdated rule barring freshmen. It probably is again since that rule has been eliminated.
