UConn adds two to the staff

UConn men's basketball head coach Kevin Ollie today announced the appointment of two additions to his coaching staff. David Sevush has been named Director of Scouting-Video, while Dan Griffin has been named Director of Player Development.

Dan Griffin is really the only new addition- Sevush was with the program as a grad assistant for the past two years.

That's REALLY keeping it in the family. Going back even before UCONN. Nice to see.

Griffin has some business and real estate interests in south LA and is a pretty active figure in the community in terms of mentoring, etc. I remember his name from one of those rubber chicken dinners I was at a few years back. He's a guy who made his own success, is intent on improving his community, and will probably be a great influence on the guys in the program. Cool move by KO.
