UConn -3 vs. GTown | The Boneyard

UConn -3 vs. GTown

We’ve been kinda sketchy in conference play, plus missing LM, plus Georgetown has actually been playing well…-3 seems in line.

I’m a little concerned about how UConn reacts to playing in a morgue.
My daughters and I will be cheering from section 109. It felt like majority UConn fans last year.

We’re not as good as last year

GTown is off to a pretty solid start and are at home

Not too shocked it’s not some huge line

The boxscore from last season says attendance was 13,040. That can't be right. I remember it being a lot of UConn fans.

My son is attending with his whole family, the DC area is huge with large numbers of Husky fans so it’s no surprise about the crowd.

Georgetown has not played a very good schedule for their 12-3 compared to UConn.

Doomed........

No. 9 UConn at Georgetown

2 p.m. | Fox, fuboTV (Try for free) -- UConn is due for a bounceback after losing a heartbreaker to Villanova earlier this week. UConn star forward Alex Karaban missed both free throws with his team down one, which led to a 68-66 loss. Georgetown has been one of the more surprising teams in college basketball and sits at 3-1 in Big East play. UConn covers and wins on the road. Prediction: UConn -3.5

They have P5 wins they lost last year. They’re definitely trending in the upward direction as a program. And we look lost without McNeeley at times.

I’m not sure to what degree home field advantage automatically moves a line like it does in football by 2-3 points, but I have to imagine we would be favored by closer to 7 on a neutral floor; and that is not crazy at all, given where each team is right now in the season.

I view this as a 50/50 game. Really need Liam back.

As far as what we have to work with, let’s get Reed the ball in the post and green light Stewart do his thing without looking over his shoulder.

Here +6 in section 119.

Actually surprised there are as many GTown fans here

This game has me concerned, while no losses are good another loss this early in the season would hurt ranking, seeding, and introduce more risk

This would have been a tough match up with McNeeley. I saw the GTown game against Creighton -they kicked the snot out of them.Their defense go ea them a good chance. Whoever is being guarded by Micah Peavy has to be careful with DHOs.
