That was a really good game played by UConn. No complaints ( other than really garbage reffing). UConn did a lot of good things.

Embellishment was a BS call for the home team.

Some of these boarding calls drive me nuts. He bumped into him but it was not anything egregious and well short of the boards. Then he gets a major? Preposterous.

The embellishing thing is a joke. Call a trip or call embellishing don't call both.

And the whole slash thing because the stick falls out of the guys hands. You see guys do mutiple slashes on guys arms no call but if a guy isn't holding on to his stick it's a slash.

That being said this team is way better than I thought they would be. Love the grind and the effort they bring each game.

The goalie was outstanding, if he's the backup or third stringer he deserves more PT.

That embellishment was a joke.

Good team, well played game. If Cav doesn't drive the team off a cliff like last year they can make some noise in the league.
