UConn 2026 Outbound Portal Transfers (*No transfer speculation until announced/posted*)

Not sure if this has been mentioned but Durell Robinson has transferred to Colorado State from Auburn. Listed on Rivals.
Thats a good get for them. I was wishing he'd come back. He was doing well before he got hurt at Auburn

Aubrey Melvin - so is it UMass or SEMO? It's so hard with recruits and multiple "Commits". They should not even say committed anymore, just "Current Best Offer".

Delano Brown is SEMO

Melvin is at UMass...Brown is at SEMU...you're confusing yourself.
yes, definitely - I looked at Delano Brown's twitter and saw both the SEMO and UMass posting. It was a repost not his post.

Melvin was a fairly highly rated recruit (89 on 247, 87.5 on their composite) so he seems like a great pickup for UMass. Wonder if he just wanted to get playing time. Could kill it there for a year then get a nice offer to go play somewhere else.

Best of luck to him

The skeptic in me is asking why he went to UMass. Maybe just a last second landing spot where he can get reps. Good luck to the young man.

Hate to see it but I really liked the kid. If Mora can get the same out of him at CSU that he got out of him here, this will be a great pick up. I don’t know what their RB room looks like. Wish him all the best.

Their RB room is basically our RB room from last year, just subtract Cam and add Robinson.

I've gotta think Mora's plan is to have Durell take Cam's role as the main back, with Mel being the speedy change of pace/RB2. Lundberg-Coleman will probably handle some power runs and Greaves will be there for depth. Not sure if they've added anyone else but that right there is a solid RB room.

I would be thrilled if that was our RB room. Not that I don’t trust who Candle has brought in of course, I think he reloaded quite nicely, and who knows, it could turn out even better. But I’d take any of those RBs back in a heartbeat

I am hoping the gigantic line we assembled is good enough for me to be the featured back

Durell Robinson can ball. As much as I wanted Cam to have more carries in 24 as a Fairfield County kid with more time in the program, Durell Robinson was at least as good as him as a runner that year.

I completely agree. If you just go by the raw numbers (not any of the advanced PFF stuff I don't have access to) Robinson had as many TDs on 40 less carries and averaged a full YPC more than Cam. Between him and Cam we really had a two headed monster at RB that year. The fact Mel Brown consistently found his way on to the field despite having those 2 guys in front of him I think speaks volumes to how talented Brown is as well.

I fully expect Durell to slot into Cam's role at CSU next year and do a more than adequate job for them.
