I do wish we kept some of the obvious guys, Edwards and Neider in particular. I hate losing local kids that are really good.
Did we lose them or did they leave?

Both. We lost them cuz they left. ^_^Did we lose them or did they leave?
They looked at his tape and thought he’d be a great 4th string QB who has talent that could potentially be something if they ever, god forbid, needed him. I believe the linked article a few pages back talked about how Missouri said this was why they brought him in. They never want him to be their starting QB.I will say I do not know what Mora saw in Evers other than the P2 teams he transferred from. Evers is inaccurate, he isn't fast, folds under any sort of pressure, slow at processing etc. The only thing Evers has been good at in college football is entering the transfer portal. How Missouri looked at his tape and said I need some of that is beyond me. Also, he has the opportunity to play in the bowl game and peaces out last minute, he is no one I would ever want in my program.
Yup. Mind your own business, Mora. Not your player anymore and it just shows a lack of respect and class. The Mora he does the Mora I don’t like him. Low character guyAgain this guy gotta go talking up a player who is no longer his...give it a flipping rest already. Go talk up players who leave CSU, he can offer Tunde support privately. And is he too busy skiing or tweeting to take a real picture with CSU gear rather than recolor a pic taken at UConn?
I don’t like this look by Mora either. If he cares so much about Tunde, why doesn’t CSU pick him up?Don’t know much about Mr Tunde, but he is on UConns roster. Mora is borderline tampering or brokering the kid out of Storrs. Now he may have been told there is no spot for him. In that case HCJM should get on the phones and help find him a home privately.
He is showing loyalty to the young men who played for him over his former employer. It’s fine if you and others would rather he show a different priority, but it’s not like that’s some grevious moral failing either.Yup. Mind your own business, Mora. The guy entered the portal over a month after Candle was hired. He’s had a conversation with Candle on his future with UConn and still entered. I honestly can’t understand how so many people are getting this worked up over the world’s most innocuous tweets. The problem with Mora’s approach is that it seems like he’s suggesting the guys leave UConn. If he instead added that he would encourage Coach Candle to consider bringing them back, it would still be caring about the guys, but come across a lot differently.
Not worked up, just explaining how it could be perceived as anti-UConn. Many guys were entering much earlier when they very possibly had not had that conversation yet with Candle and Mora was tweeting similar thoughts. The guy entered the portal over a month after Candle was hired. I don't think much of Mora, but I don't see it as a big deal for him to wish this player well. He wasn't going to see the field at UConn, so it's not like he is spiting us by wishing him well at his next destination (likely an FCS school).
The AI "goodbye" on Twitter was a bad look on him, but this is nothing.
I see it as a positive for getting more $$$ since Mora is drumming up outside interest for him. Hard to negotiate better rates when UConn is not competing with others for his services. What if Candle is trying to retain the player, thats the problem. Do you think Mora called Candle to ask? Thats likely a no. What if said player is just trying to get more $$$ from UConn. Also, that text is a huge I don’t want him but you will love him message.
It’s the totality of behavior. I think he’s a real self centered jackass and this about him looking the part not the player. He is showing loyalty to the young men who played for him over his former employer. If your boss at work switches jobs, would you really be offended if he prioritized his relationship to you and the rest of his team personally as opposed to what was good for your company?
you are probably right, Mora has been reading the BY and wants to improve his sullied reputation. All is forgiven !!I bet Mora talked up UConn to Laurich as he was weighing his decision.
