OT is their friend!! Peterson finds the back of the net.

UConn moves on!

Damn. The announcer saw the offsides happen.

Our ladies thought they were done playing in Freitas. But seriously, how does the NCAA choose this place as a host site? Really sad.
The NCAA did not chose the site. Ohio State claimed the regional site by virtue of its Pairwise ranking. Perhaps the men are playing in their regular venue.

The Ohio State men are playing at Michigan State on Saturday, so that’s not it. Bottom line is that rink isn’t fit for an NCAA tourney game.

Both calls seem correct. Still stings a bit, but UConn has plenty to be proud of. UMD is gonna have a tough time with OSU. They’re already 0-5 against them this season and have been out scored 15-2. 2 regular season series and a game in the WCHA playoffs. Good luck to them.

Great season and the seniors helped build this program to a top tier level.
And playing at that rink with that production is a slap in the face to women's sports. Terrible. Someone needs to be held accountable.

I cannot believe that their men's team plays in a dump. That raises a very interesting question.
