Fairly detailed analysis of the team for next season. Thought they did a good job with this writeup.

Very good write-up. Could have talked a bit more about Sanogo who will be a major factor on offense. One of the "three" had UConn ranked 35, which is unrealistically low.

Nice analysis. Fair points. Among the best front courts in the nation, for sure. Let's see how the guards/wings develop... particularly with respect to 3 point shooting.

Their 3 Man Weave podcast is worth a listen.

These guys were very high on Bouknight las year, so they're likely to be a little low on us in his absence.

But the Houston call is pretty spot on. If we're successful this year, we'll likely follow a model of Houston from the last few years. Hitting the boards to win the possession battle. Hawkins in the Caleb Mills freshman role.

Their 3 Man Weave podcast is worth a listen.

A couple of different times the write up used superlatives described rim defense and offensive rebounding for the front court.

Rothstein was also very high on front court talent and depth.

Pretty close to becoming a narrative any talking head will say to sound knowledgeable.

I simultaneously felt filthy and happy while reading that comment.

Houston-lite is a bit insulting. Not saying we will perform as well, so far we certainly have not. But the trajectory of the program is set to leave Houston well in our review mirror. UConn isn't anybody "lite".

Agree we will remain a defense first team, crash the boards (hopefully much better on the defensive end than we have). The hoped for changes include faster pace of play. More steals, more running off of defensive boards. That can do wonders for our mediocre half court offense.

Gonna be interesting to see how much the freshmen can push their veteran bench companions for more playing time. Who has the upper hand between Gaffney/Diggins, Hawkins/Polley, and Akok/Johnson?

I know everyone instantly wants to assume the freshmen are better, but Gaffney will have 2 years of experience and a proven jump shot on Sool, Polley is coming off a 6th man award and is also a proven shooter with 4 years of experience on Hawk, and we pretty much know Akok is gonna be a major factor moving forward. There's only so much playing time to go around.

Until we do leave them in the dust or perform as well or better, the lite is an accurate representation.

I think Sampson is a top 5 coach right now.

Solid write-up emphasizes our 7th best rim protection, and our 4th best offensive rebounding nationally. We're gonna be even better in both these categories this year, and that will make us hard to beat.

3MW is one of the best CBB sites/podcasts out there. These guys do their research on every team and conference in the country.

They deserve way more recognition than most of the big media corps out there. Great write up!
