I really wish I was blessed enough to have my ESPN3 feed synch w/ Chris Jones!

First game I was all WHUS while working. Head home - flip on TV and WHUS on puter and WHUS is a whole batter ahead (just not UConn Baseball w/o C.J. but it is very cool to see UConn on the big screen).

Such is life... :(:D
 
Feole has not pitched well at all so far. As Jones pointed out, Susi is catching Feole (which he very rarely does), so that may have something to do with it.

Big strikeout on the Trout there.
 
Feole is so frustrating. Letting them back into game with his wildness.

Feole gets back to back strikeouts to get out of another jam. 5-2 UConn after 3 innings. Feole up to 68 pitches.
 
sorry if I am repeating what is known but the game is on Cox Channel 128 (they are using the old UConn logo!)

We might get some Vietnam flashbacks to the Coastal game today if the bullpen cannot hold up. The wind is brutal.
 
For anyone who cares, Harvard pitcher threw a no-hitter against Yale @ Yale Field today, Harvard winning, 4-0. Harvard had a perfect game going into the bottom of the 8th with 2 outs, error gets Yale runner on base. Also walked a runner with 1 out left in the 9th.

Bummer. Harvard is competitive this year for sure.

A bad error is hurting Feole's pitch count.

Feole gets through the 4th, getting his 6th strikeout to end the inning. Feole is up to 94 pitches. 8-2 UConn.
 
If I’m Penders I’m seeing if Chase can pitch in relief here. I’m not sure if the guys left have what it takes to get 4-5 inning of less than 6 runs against this lineup.

We would be throwing away game 3, and WSU has shown to be beatable. I would keep Feole in for 1 more inning, then go with Holmes in the 6th.
