Makes sense though, that is almost exactly the order of how BE teams fared in the OOC. Almost like those games also matter.

What an odd season.
 
I got 33-1 earlier this year. We were down to 10-1 at one point. Before the season I believe we were 90 or 100-1.

It is but it isn’t. OOC we played offense 5-5. The BE coaches know the team and we’re playing 4-5 offense. The tape is out and unless we change our offense, my guess is that’s also how teams I’m the tourney will play us too.

It goes to what I said in the Big East game thread. UConn can beat anyone on a neutral court. PC can't beat those top teams neutral site. UConn can also throw out absolute stinkers, which we have now the last two tournaments. UConn is a risky bet but this team could win it all. PC is a good bet to at least win their first game.
 
I think the odds were at 28-1 when I considered placing a bet early in the season. I'm not much of a gambler though.

I wish we had fewer of these bye weeks. 7 days and this board gets bored and we will find anything UConn to opine on. 20-1 fora natty. I am just hoping for a win on Saturday.

That's kind of where I am at. I want 5-0 the rest of the way like we all do, but I really want Seton Hall and PC games at home the most.

Not exactly.

But you could have instead pointed them to your update on 1/9, which indisputably projected Providence at 14-6.

Maybe, a response like, "Initially, I was too hasty & conclusive, which turned out to be wrong" would have bridged your two threads, and shown anybody who confidently criticized you based on out-of-date data since corrected as both misinformed and petty.

What's more important to you:
Principles or personalities?
Integrity or enmity?

Why not make the most of your gifts and how you share them?

Aren't there enough here this season who are chomping on PC bait that they've helped inform and strengthen with little sense of the symbiotic mechanics in play, simply because the bait tastes like a spicier version of a dish they like?

Be a uniter, not a divider.
It's the only way this team will top 30 wins this season, and ironically, the sourest notes being sounded are grounded in indignant disappointment that this team stopped its confident, rightful march to grand success and now must be ridiculed and doubted by those who 'know better,' so that they don't feel the further or repeat sting of foolishness.
