I think part of the reason Diaco picked UCF is because UCF flat out quit in the bad weather last year. USF never did that up here.

Wouldn't say they quit, but it looked like they wanted no part of being there. Recall a few times when their players slipped on that wet, icy field (bad kleats?). Even with that, after falling down by 16, they came back and had a chance to tie on their final possession.

You're right about USF - 2005, 07, and 09 games had typical fall New England weather (cold, rain, snow), and they never looked phased by it.

They only came back because we were so bad! We kept them in it despite themselves.
 
I don't think Clemson scores 37 points. BC's Defense is relatively good.

It's all about Title IX.

Most schools are looking to add women's sports in order to comply with Title IX requirements.

The last sport that USF added was Women's Sailing, but that is not an NCAA sport. I'm pretty sure BC is one of the schools they compete against.

At the time, I believe USF really wanted to add Women's Swimming but, probably for financial reasons, chose sailing.

So, if we added Men's Hockey, we would most likely have to add a new women's sport to offset it and I don't think we are prepared to do that.

Gotta tell ya, Augie. I'd bite the bullet and stay home. It'd put your wife's mind at ease, lifts pressure off your friends and fellow spectators, and with any luck they will both be down for a nap by early afternoon. So you can watch a majority of game, uninterrupted. What's the chances of anything close to a nap if your kids are wound up at a ballgame?

On the otherhand, it's a free country. If you decide on coming to the game, I wish you all the luck in the world.
 
They are both backups but I certainly welcome lockerroom distractions for USF.

USF just took heavy heavy money. Line went all the way from UConn -3 to a PK

That line is low enough to warrant a big play on the Huskies for me!
