Yeah, I picked it up out there. I knew it was inevitable; I figured I already had it and did more indoor eating and drinking in one week than in the past 22 months combined. I knew it was in every room I was in so there was no way I wasn’t getting it if I didn’t already have it.

Just feels like a minor head cold for me so far. If this is as bad as it gets, no regrets; and I’m actually relieved to not have to try to dodge it anymore.

Which means they will continue to struggle on the road against the best defense they’ve seen all season.

Butler beat Georgetown by 14 on the road. Marquette beat Georgetown by 28 on the road. St. John's beat Georgetown by 19. Nova beat them by 11 on the road (add 6 for the home switch and you're at 17).

Providence only beat them by 8 but they basically never don't blow anyone out based on the way they play.

Adjusted for court, those are all 17+ home court margins except Providence. Georgetown has dropped 100 spots in KenPom so far this year.

Nice hit. I had an epic fail last night. Lost all 5 games in a 5 leg. After I lost first two I was rooting for a sweep. I got it . :-)

Don't you get some kind of payoff for missing all five? I remember the old football slips used to give some consolation prize for 0-fers.

And one of those wins will come against a team ranked far above them in KenPom or Torvik or whomever you want to use as your qualifier. They beat Cuse. Respect them for that.

I should but alas no. Although it cost me nothing as I got a credit equal to my bet for playing an over 4 leg. I don’t bet big anyway. It was 20 bucks. ( would’ve paid 200 though). And total karma for adding Syracuse ML over sPITT in that. I deserved it.

Congrats to those who knew that -- in contrast to how they've played for the last few weeks -- Georgetown wouldn't put up a fight on defense.

Whelp we didn’t either in first 1/2. We were very poor defensively in the first half , gave up 40 points in first and gtown was raining threes on us and our close outs were piss poor in that aspect. We put up 52 and were a little too in love with our offense to lock down D . But Danny got after them and gtown scored 12 points in first 11 minutes of 2nd half. I’m glad we responded .

In my world everyone gets eternal respect and gratitude for beating them. I will donate as a non alum to Colgate.
