And two points out of sole possession of 9th place. It's amazing how tight the standings are in this league once you clear Merrimack and Vermont.
Truly a wild year. Hard to believe this team may miss the conference tourney

Just an FYI...

Vermont's final 2 weekends are against Maine and Northeastern, then they have a lone game against UMass Amherst.
Merrimack has 2 against Providence and 1 against BC.

New Hampshire has to contend with UMass Lowell for 2 and BC for 2. That will be tough for them as they don't get to feast off the 2 weak teams.

The boys have the season in their own hands. For us, that sounds scary, for them it’s the chance of a life time. Could be a run for the ages. This group is starting to look special at the right time of the year.

Saturday’s match ups...

Northeastern went on the road and shut out Lowell last night. The 2nd game is at NU tonight. That and the Maine/UConn game are huge in seeing which team can temporarily separate from the logjam

another game where they got a lead early only to give it right Back. Happened a couple games ago too and this team did not get discouraged but rallied to win. Seems much more mentally tough now than early in season. That is a huge credit to staff and kids to have grown since beginning of year.

any win in this conference on the road is huge. Team has come a long way since start of season and heck even since that week after the rough stretch holiday break

Freeman is my man. Love the way he plays the game. Not an all American but one of those guys every team absolutely needs.

Great win at Maine. Now get another tonight

You and Asweet have no problem making comments after losses and then disappear after wins.
There's no harm in rooting for the team.
Even after a win you have to make a snarky comment.
That's your perception. You think I went to games to watch us lose?

Too early to really start analyzing but......don’t we have tiebreakers over UNH and Maine now?

Roller coaster of a season. Very exciting to see them playing well down the home stretch.

Sure wish we could have the Merrimack games back...if we miss the playoffs those losses will be the reason. Big difference since the CT Ice has been that the puck is finally going in the net.

Yes, over UML too (with one game remaining). Even with Northeastern; but PC has it over us.

Great that the game is on NESN tonight. CBS all access is a joke. Didn’t work at all on my Firestick last night. Was able to get it on my iPad, but that isn’t what I pay them for.

I think you went to games hoping to find the Sacred Heart results on the scoreboard.
It's easy to prove me wrong - show up after a nice performance and say something positive. If you have the energy to post something after a loss, find that energy deep down after a well played game.
It's not just you - ASweet is horrible at this. Probably worse than you.

What's a perfect night look like?

UConn def. Maine

Merrimack gets a tie vs BC (I'm gonna get crazy here)

Vermont ties Providence (again, not getting crazy)

New Hampshire vs BU?? If we win do we want to push closer to securing a playoff spot and go BU for the win? Or do we want to leapfrog BU with a UConn win and UNH win?

UMass Lowell vs NE? Again do we go UML and put distance between us and NE or do we root for tying UML with a NE win?

FWIW UMass Lowell has 45 goals for 46 allowed in conference play while NE has 56/46.

Sorry if I was tired of an unnecessary continual regression when Bruce Marshall's kids played hard. If you think it's perfectly OK for kids to pretend to play hockey when the building has a large crowd for years and waste people's time and money, good luck with that. You can always block me rather than whine.

Baby steps. I got you to actually respond after a win. Progress is being made.

Our power play could not have been worse. I believe Maine had 2 or 3 legit shots on goal to our none?
That being said not a bad period, if we get at least one point out of this that's huge.

NE/UNH tied at 1 thus far, Providence up on VT 2-1, BC pounded merrimac 6-2, UML, NE is just underway

That was a pretty bad power play, but it was nice to see a good kill afterwards. We are last in HE on penalty kills...that has to improve for us to continue this late run to the playoffs.

One period away from that valuable point, but I like the idea of two better.
