Let's see who has the EDGE here tonight? Will you use your EDGE to lay the points and ride the Creighton blowout or will that EDGE lean on the fact our ATS is still very poor this year?
After 1 game, the Boneyard wagering EDGE is 3 for 9 (33%).

With the timing when online sports gambling was legalized, and UConn’s rate of covering/ championships since, everyone on this board who’s into betting should be in very good shape.

Amazingly ESPN (sarcasm folks) preview though by the AP literally says “The matchup Tuesday is the first meeting of the season between the two teams in conference play.”

Discredit Data Skrive and Sportradar by not knowing we won 90-67 at Xavier on Dec 31st.

That is a big error on their part. That first meeting is one of the big reasons why the line is UConn -17.5 and add on top of that this time UConn is at home. The other reasons are because they are the #3 team in the country at home while Xavier is under .500 in BE play and that UConn just put the belt to ass on Creighton in front of a national audience on Fox.

I’m curious to see what the gamblers say. It’s a fun new addition to game day threads if people actually post their picks

@Deepster you should flip a coin each game and post it before tip. Then see who does better…gamblers or coin flip

My buddy had an office football pool and in order to win the pool, you had to have most wins, but also had to beat the coin flip ticket. He said it was annoying how many times no one won the pool because the coin flip beat or tied the top human picker

A long time ago, Swami used to post his gambling prediction here every game. "The Swami Speaks"

I had my cat flip a coin and my cat had a better winning % than he did.

Gambling does stink….i had UNC -11.5 last night. They were cruising along up 31 w 7 1/2 minutes to go against an awful Syracuse team and somehow managed to only win by 10. They gave up 32 points in 7 minutes.
I saw on SportsCenter this morning that was the angle they were taking. Not who won, just that Syracuse had an insane comeback to beat the spread.

How the hll did you get a cat to flip a coin?

If not for the very real aspect of this being a sandwich game the good guys would be the easy choice. However, just like that ridiculous cover by the team from Canada down in Chapel Hill last night, I definitely could see us getting well over the number before taking our foot off the gas and letting Xavier backdoor cover. Heck, this team has let it happen a few times already. The Marquette game a month ago and the DePaul game 6 days after that are but 2 examples.

My advice is be careful if you think this one is a slam dunk cover. Hopefully when we start rolling, like in Omaha on Saturday, we keep our foot on the gas and keep steamrolling right to the final buzzer.

UConn wins, does not cover.

Watching the game, did you find any fishy officiating?
