This seems like an unusually large spread for us considering we haven't won by more than 10 since the Grambling St. game in early December. I wonder if vegas knows something...

I'm pretty sure this is the game where we'll be running on all cylinders.

UConn knows how important these next four game are. This latest pause gets everyone healthy and focused on fixing the fixable issues. They will be loaded for bear. Take UConn.

Butler is 266th in eFG% and 216th in Opp eFG%. They’re below average in every offensive category. Not one of their players would start for us and they just got demolished by 40 by Nova. 13.5 sounds like a lot, but these are the types of teams there’s no excuse to not crush given that we’re healthy and back on a normal schedule.

I agree. My gut just never tells me to put money on a line lower than -10 in the Big East, particularly with how crazy this year has been.

I’m guessing UConn finds a way to make this a close game as usual

Honestly, I would play alternative lines if possible today.

Almost certain that we either win by 20+ or it's within 6-8 points. Very strongly doubt this is in the 8-20 range.

another St Johns trap bet
STAY AWAY!!!!
UConn should/has to win but 14 pt blow out???
Would be nice but might also be a final minute win

Also the last time we played a team outside the top 100 in Kenpom.

Someone posted our records vs the spread for Gampel and XL games. UConn against the spread was significantly below .500 when covering at XL.

This feels like one of those games where we win somewhat comfortably but less than the spread.

I think they are going to blow them out tonight. I also expect Hawkins to go for 20+ tonight. Things are going to change

I bet on the good guys and gave the 13.5. Butler has played a remarkably easy schedule outside of Nova they won’t be used to our length and athleticism. I think it’s likely this game will be a blow out because Butler can’t score the ball and we don’t allow teams to make shots. Butler may be held in the 30s or 40s tonight. If we get to 60 we’re good.
