Creel has been really solid. He was a little flighty at times, but neither goal tonight was remotely his fault. That 2nd for NU was why that line is SO good.
 
Yes, the Huskies are hot right now. The bad news is that there are only two games left in the RS. That, of course though, can be a good thing as they won't be as tired as the other teams unless they get this nasty flu.

They sent the playoff ticket email for Season ticket holders today. Heck, i didn't even want to reserve my playoff seats until I saw how they played tonight. Will do soon.

Maine still has UNH(2/14) BC 3x times for its remaining games.

With no league games for BU, the next home game vs UConn is gonna be HUGE.

BU has 23, while UConn has 21.

BU still has UConn, MC, and Vermont 2x.

UML still has UMass, PC 2x and MC 2x

Gonna be interesting

Reserved mine tonight....note the extra charges.

“Thank you for requesting Hockey East Opening Round Tournament tickets. If UConn is confirmed to host this post-season series your credit card will be charged for the quantity of tickets requested (price includes a $2.00 per ticket FIT Fee) and a one time $12.00 order charge. Tickets will then be sent via Print-at-Home on Monday, February 26th.”

I think the total for my 2 seats (4 tix) was $76.00 with the fees. Overall 19 bucks a ticket isnt too bad for a great night of entertainment. Beers not included of course. Bring your wallet.
 
Are the doing the 3 game deal again? Pay the 2 and get the 3rd game free if necessary? Or did they get stingy?

Season ticket holders will get the third game for free if it’s necessary. Doesn’t say if the general public gets that game if they buy 2. Probably not though.

So, since I reserved my tickets, I guess I have to hope for a 6th place finish. If we finish in 5th I guess it’s road trip time.

Oh, they're gonna milk this hardcore.

Another 2-3 games. Free $$$ for them.

Tickets for the public I bet will be insane. Probably $25-30 after all fees. Highway robbery. Make cheaper so we can actually fill the place.

The only reason we had decent crowds was they were either $11 or free for other sports Season ticket holders.

They should be $20 after fees MAX

I agree. We need butts in the seats...for an up and coming program that’s whats really important, not making a few extra bucks.
 
So happy for Tanner. Some of his saves are just unbelievable. Great win and winning streak for this team. Wish the papers would give more coverage for hockey. The JI has one, long run-on sentence for the win last night. Haven't checked the Courant yet.

If they win the last two they’ll finish the regular season right at .500. I’d definitely sign up for that after the 5 game losing streak to start the second half of the season.
