Losing a coach where the position group has improved year over year is a loss, yes. But it might be easier to replace a QB coach than an OC.
Fagnano was Charlton guy, Evers would have been Robbins guy. QB group had a strange dynamic. Hard to tell what was going on between Mora Sammis and Fagnano Evers. I’m Not enough of a football guy to know how big a role the QB coach has in big picture, at UConn or elsewhere.

Does anyone know what Chris Palmer is up to? He may be up there (75) but he was as goos as anyone at developing QB's.

This is what we want. Talented young coaches can come to UConn, be successful, and move on with a promotion. That is how you attract other talented young coaches.
Yeah, but, did the ink ever even dry on this one year with us? I mean, we've got to establish something that resembles a QB coach that's willing to hang around a little bit, instead of one and done, no? Considering our FBS history and all. Hopefully we won't be a YoYo over the next several years (win a bunch, lose a bunch do it to getting reacclamated to new coaching along a bunch portal NIL kids mixed) I mean, if we get it right, we can make a nice 5 year run out of it...but, all things considered, in the past decade and more, leaves you wondering a little. I just don't want us going back there any time soon... better yet, ever again.

This ^. Positions on staff will sell themselves if Mora can show a proven path to growth and promotional opportunities. This is a very good thing. More worried about the position of qb and not the coach.

It was drier than the ink on his Southern Utah contract
