End of a surprisingly brisk first quarter. Expected more of a grinder but west coast speed gave the game a kick in the pants

Miss St is 5 of 8 from 3. It will be next to impossible for UCLA to defend McCowan and also the 3-point line. Morgan William is maybe their 4th-best 3-point shooter at best and she just swished two in a row. If they don't cool off from the arc, it's gonna be a rough game for the Bruins.

Miss St is going to continue building a lead and by the middle of 3rd quarter, this game will be a blow out. UCLA had to have a good start and hitting shots. Instead Miss St has hit five of eight three point shot attempts.

I'm sorry but this has been such a boring day of games. The Pac 12 teams look completely over matched. Neither can score in the half court. Really makes you question those Big 12 teams.

Ok, here’s my theory: the basketball hoop by the MSU end has a lid on it and next half UCLA will play much better while MSU will struggle...

I am openly rooting against MSU...so my logic may be flawed.

Billings had what appeared to be a clean block in the 1st quarter but again not according to the ref.

I am sensing a pattern in this game too.

Tina Napier is the official who made the worst foul call in history on a similarly clean block at the end of the Nebraska-Michigan game, which ended up handing the game to Michigan. I've never seen such a bad game-deciding call.
