UCLA @ California (18) - 1/04/19

Are you gonna do one for the all Pac 12 games? This game isn't being shown in my area, but I have a full slate w/ Washington @ Oregon, Wasington St. @ Oregon St. and USC @ Stanford. Staggered start times. DVR is gonna get a workout. I'm going to try to watch all 3 games.
 
I figure everybody can watch this game one way or another. I tend to think Cal is still overrated at #18, so I’m curious about this game. I’m also curious about the Utah game. I figure the rest of the Pac games won’t be that competitive and most won’t be watching.

Not that it will play out the same, but Stanford really struggled in OOC last year and then seemed to get right instantly when conference play started. Maybe UCLA is better than they showed in OOC this year. Opening with a pair of road wins against decent teams would be a good start.

Between this and OSU-WSU, apparently leading by double digits at halftime is a bad thing.
 
Incredible how tightly contested all the games have been across the conference tonight. Looks like this one is going down to the wire too.

Whoa. Drummer misses the 2nd free throw but Onyenwere gets the O-board and putback to tie the game with 17 seconds to play.

Cal will get the final shot for the win.

Cal with a bad offensive possession, a wild shot, and about 4 or 5 seconds for UCLA to set up their final shot.
 
What kinda shot was that by Forbes on the last Cal possession??? And why is she taking the shot. Poor management by the Bears.

If Cal loses this game in Ot it’s gonna be due to poor management. They aren’t even trying to get Anigwe the ball. The guards are just throwing up shots and UCLA is capitalizing.
 
Asha Thomas gets ball and what does she do?? Toss it into Anigwe. The senior PG knows!!!

That was a really weird possession. Burke fouled the Cal player, knew she fouled her and waited for the call that never came. Then it got tied up on the floor no jump ball and UcLA went the other way for 2
