I was at the first DM game. He set a then Big East record 20-20 from the ft line.

6. Ray Allen - 39 points vs. Rutgers [2/28/1996]

7. Richard Hamilton - 39 points vs. Boston College [1/6/1999]

That Ray Allen performance shows the days when Gample was rocking. Wish it was the same today.

Come on, man.
Did you really need to criticize what may have been a simpel typo?

At any rate, thanks again, to our resident knights and saints at UCHG. I now know what I will be doing this weekend.

Its not the potential typo that should be met with outrage. There's been plenty of games lately on campus that have been supercharged. 1) I'm surprised the stands didn't collapse in '14 against Florida when the students shifted to be closer to Bazz as he ran out of the gym. The Louisville game that KO got tossed out of was so amped up that I've never heard the National Anthem sung louder. Cuse in 2012 has been mentioned as one of the most hyped games ever on this board in the last month. It's just wrong to say the pavilion can't still get hyped.

Gampel still gets crazy and the crowd in that game really wasn't that great? Puzzling post

It looks empty in comparison.......

And everyone on this board complains that the students should be not only behind the hoops, but center court as well.

I meant it was nice seeing a packed crowd, and not a bunch of empty seats.
