U18 Game Today 1:15 USA vs Dominican Repbulic

15-13 USA leads after 1st quarter. Game is definitely much closer then I thought it would be. USA is shooting less then 30%. Have to think Team USA will start to shoot better.

Tuck and Graves working well on the inside. Tuck leading scorer with 8. 27-13
 
Watched Morgan on the last play, she didn't box out very aggressively and a smaller Dominican player got in front of her - but they're in a zone so it's tougher to pick out a body

I'm really looking forward to seeing Tuck play. I know what we are getting with Bree and Mo, but Morgan seems like such an Ashja player - does whatever is needed, and does it very well, but nothing is flashy. I still recall seeing her pretty much shut down Bree in the McD AA game. what a trio!!!

Morgan has a really nice free throw shot, no wasted motion, 7 for 7, 13 points total.

I was thinking the same thing. And yes - she reminds me of Asjha - just a calm player with a lot of game. That was some quarter - USA shut them out until the last two possessions when the defense just fell asleep and allowed two uncontested lay-ups.

Morgan has played the most minutes and Breanna still hasn't gotten into the game.

Morgan looking like she's at another level...and I liked what I saw of MoJeff's defense...
 
USA going down low to Tuck early and often in the 3rd - another bucket inside for Morgan

LoL Bre with another block, she looked surprised that she even blocked it! The girl just rises and shoots right into Bre's hand while Bre is planted on the floor
