Unless it is a compound fracture..a fractured fibula is not that bad of an injury, it just takes time for the fracture to heal...a shattered fibula where they need to place a rod in the bone..that's a different story.

Man I hope TB is OK.

When I read "The Raiders reduced Branch's base salary from $6 million to $715,000 for 2013. In exchange, the Raiders tacked on two seasons to the four-year contract Branch signed last season." does that mean two more seasons at $6m+ a season? Even though he reduced his salary does some count as guaranteed? i truly hope this injury doesn't hurt his wallet.

TB - the best Husky playing on Sunday.

He did the raiders a huge favor by restructuring.

im sure he made sure a large portion of the back end was guaranteed. Probably so much so, that they cant cut him because it doesnt make financial sense.

I expect oak will stick with him through the injury, get him better, and hope he is 100% back when its time.

I hope he has a quick and successful recovery. Tough week for UConn in the NFL...and elsewhere...

I was watching the game. Didn't look good. He couldn't put any weight on it, but glad it wasn't a knee.
