I am a Tyson fan, but why were you looking forward to this ? It's not really a good fight given his age and the opponent. It's more of a show.

All social media influencers deserve a beat down. Maybe Paul can fight one of the Kardashians as a warm up.

Do you think Paul would beat Tyson?
I agree that those people deserve to be beaten up. I don't know, but this would be an awful way to end Tyson's career if he loses or something healthwise happens . It's a no win situation for him

I don’t think he should fight because he’s 58. However, the postponement is due to an undisclosed Tyson medical issue. He had an emergency situation on a plane like a week or two ago.

Wasn't Tyson , the convicted rapist and ear biter , who threatened to eat his opponents babies and also told a female reporter that he doesn't talk to women unless he fornicated with them , wasn't he getting his ass kicked like 25 years ago? Maybe Paul will win and his brother will make an "energy" drink in honor of Iron Mike and call it "Tython" . Mike Tyson's biggest defeat was to Desiree Washington in 1991.

People care about this fight because Jake Paul is and always has been a promoter extraordinaire. He knows how to get clicks and views like few others.

I don't know, I kind of look at this as playing with house money. if he wins, he's the 59-year-old guy who beat the crap out of another fighter (sort of). If he loses, Jake Paul is the dick who beat up a senior citizen.

Hopkins went 12 rounds with Kovalev at 49 and George Foreman was a heavyweight champ at 48. Tyson is older but in great shape and Paul is no Kovalev.

Tyson supposedly could have made $20mil while getting the chance to kick the turd out of that idiot. Tyson might not be the most sympathetic figure, but I would have taken that deal too. He's had health problems for awhile, doubt he makes 70 anyway.

The discussion above is as if Tyson has been found not to be medically able to compete. He just hast to ratchet down his training while he resolves the ulcer condition and then get himself back into fighting shape. Best case scenario that pushes back the fight 30 days.

Tyson looks terrific in 30 second clips. I'm not sure how big a conclusion you can draw from that about ability to fight a guy half his age, but it's better than looking laughable in 30 seconds clips.

Yeah, this fight is a circus sideshow, but it is a circus sideshow that I would watch.

Supposedly postponed. I haven't been a boxing fan since the 70s, but I was really looking forward to this one. I wonder what the back story is behind the postponement.

Go in with extremely low expectations. These are more money grabs than any great fights you've watched in the past. I would never pay for these but I admit to streaming them. I wouldn't be surprised if they purposely dance around the ring to go the distance and neither is allowed to knock the other out

I would never pay to see a fight. But the emergency room pay per view covering the loser would bank some serious money.

Prime Mike Tyson was one of the most exciting athletes to ever lace them up.
Before the whole Paul kerfuffle, I watched a video of an aspiring fighter who somehow met Tyson and invited him to one of his training sessions. He looked at Tyson for comment and Tyson's like well you've got to get lower and then explode up. The kid tried but it wasn't what Tyson was looking for so he shows him. Tyson was probably say 57 at the time, it was so impressive. When Tyson would come in he would come in make himself compact and get short and then explode up into the hits. it was so quick the train seemed intimidated by it. I went back and watched some of his fights and sure enough that's what he did, which I'm sure helped generate that famous power.

Even at 59, if you've watched his training videos, he's still fast. Maybe not 20-year-old Mike Tyson fast, but still fast. I'm not a big fan when fighters pass their prime get into the ring and don't look as if they can defend themselves, but I don't think that's the case with Tyson. I hope the fight comes together.
