Two points in the first half, 25 points in the second half. Fun to watch. What a tale of two halves. One of the best halves I’ve seen by a UConn player ever. Literally carried the team on his back in the 2nd half.
And the degree of difficulty on some of those shots was absolutely insane. Literally looked like a completely different player - with different body language - in the second half. What a tale of two halves. One of the best halves I’ve seen by a UConn player ever. Literally carried the team on his back in the 2nd half.
Truly. He went from borderline unplayable to absolutely dominating. I don’t know what Hurley said to him at halftime but I want to bottle it.What a tale of two halves. One of the best halves I’ve seen by a UConn player ever. Literally carried the team on his back in the 2nd half.
They scored 28, he scored 25.he basically outscored butler on his own in the second half.
Basically, as bad as he was in the 1st half he was that good in the 2nd half. Unreal. What a tale of two halves. One of the best halves I’ve seen by a UConn player ever. Literally carried the team on his back in the 2nd half.
100%. Can’t remember the last time a UConn player got that hot down the stretch of a road game. Probably Bazz at some point in 2013 or 2014.One of those times where everything just goes in, no matter how tough the shot. Went unconscious.
Agreed. He can easily put up 15/7 night in and night out. He just needs to be consistent and most imporantly stay healthy. Its difficult because he plays hard so injury is bound to happen. I hope hes out of his funk as he hasnt been the same guy since he came back from his wrist issue. Hope this is the Tmart we see going forward. Obviously i dont expect 27 a night but consistent 15+ really opens things up for this team.Tyrese is a bad mofo. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. He can carry a team, we have seen it a number of times.
Prob Polleys game at Marquette last year. Think he had 24 points mostly in the 2nd half.100%. Can’t remember the last time a UConn player got that hot down the stretch of a road game. Probably Bazz at some point in 2013 or 2014.
