These two players were killed in a car accident in my home town of Paris, TX. This is more sad news for a town that has had a string of unsolved murders of young people. Commerce is about 45 minutes from Paris and many people from Paris commute to Commerce to pursue their degrees and are a part of that college, from which my sister graduated.
I hate stories like this and this one hits close to home.
I found it really odd that the ESPN write-up provided information concerning last years statistics for each player involved, including two injured players. Was that information something that should be discussed at a time like that?
