Two obvservations about last nite's game

First, Pasqueloni was severely outcoached last nite. Everything we tried was snuffed out in advance by SU's offense & Defense. And, that wildcat was sensed easily by SU's "D".
Second, the team quit on him in the 2nd half. The "O" line was pathetically inept. The usually great "D" just saw no point in stopping Syracuse in the 2nd half.

What to do???? We really can't afford to take the chance things will turn around next year. And we can't just fire/reassign Delone just for PP to keep his job. That was done at Syracuse. And Syracuse is still climbing back up the football ladder 8 years later.

For the sake of the program Pasqueloni needs to go. Yeah, many CT HS coaches will be pi$$ed, but, there aren't all that many prospects in CT. Edsall had a mediocre relationship, at best, with CT HS coaches, but did a hell of a lot better than PP to date.

At seasons end, we, most likely will be either 4-8 or 3-9. Those are justified reasons to fire PP. Get someone who can recruit like Schiano did at Rutgers. And, in addition the new coach can also spot hidden talent, and develope them like Edsall did.

Quitting is not something you set out to do. It happens after adversity sets in and you need to reach down deep and nothing is there and then the wheels fall off.

When our guys went on that 5 game run in 2010 they had pride and believed in what the coaches were telling them. They dug deep and once they won a few games they believe in the coaches even more and they started to believe they could win. The rest is history.

When this team tries to dig deep they come up empty. They not only doubt the coach's but they are also doubting themselves, IMHO.

When you go almost 2 years not winning back to back games you develop a losing mentality instead of a winning one.

These guys are clearly incompetent. How can you still have Whitmer take 5-7 step drops when he is getting lit up like that.

Based on what I saw last night, it seems pretty clear that the players want these bums fired too.

Oh get off your high horse. what the hell do you know about it? have you ever been in that position? Sometimes you have to take a stand. You are talking about coaches trashing players futures. Take Adam Masters for example. After his first two years in the program, he looks like a guy with a significant future as a Guard playing on Sundays. Now? His career is over. He just got robbed of the two years which were his chance to prove he can play at an NFL level.
Ryan Griffin. Clear NFL talent. Barely a chance to show it. Put him in an offense with a heartbeat and he is clearly one of the top TE in the country.
There are numerous parents of players on this team with legitimate issues with these coaches.
Every Defensive playere has to be pissed about having to carry the every single week. And every offensive player has to be going out of their mind with frustration. Parents should be angry and every fan ought to be pissed about it.

IMO that kind of lah-de-dah oh well we lost attitude is fireable in and of itself.

Coach PP is like 80 I don't even think he wants to coach anymore. He sure doesn't seem like he cares if he's back next year ,he's still going to get paid the sooner he gets fired the sooner he enjoys his retirement.
