Barnes might get a cup of coffee with the Sox in September. They have the luxury of having a lot of talent in the High minor leagues. I have a feeling that Springer will start for Houston on opening day. Given their 25 man roster, there is zero reason to have him waste away in the minors. He's also turns 25 this year.

Money.

Springer will be called up to the team a couple of months into the season to save money so that his 'arbitration eligibility clock' is delayed a year.
