ever seen a photo of college or pro hoops action where the "intimidation of the shooter" by a shot blocker has been so clearly displayed as this one of Amida taking out the shot of Xavier Pollard in the Maine game last night. Imo..."WOW!!!!
(2.) I love to collect hoops pics(especially UCONN) to create wallpaper and screensavers for my computers, phone etc.. I'm sure I'm not alone here in doing that; and I'm also sure that I'm not alone in experiencing the frustration with finding good quality pictures and with finding websites that provide them. So I wanted to offer big time props, kudos etc. to the administrators, technical staff and, especially, the photographers at uconnhuskies.com who are doing, imo, an absolutely wonderful job providing a large(20-40 per game on average) number of top quality pics displaying a wide range of action involving players, coaches and fans. Most importantly, because we all spend a fair amount of our hard earned cash supporting our beloved Huskies, there are no fees, dues, subscriptions etc. of any kind required to access these photos. For those of you not familiar just click on the game recap for any game; and, at the top of the page you will see links to the galleries e.g. "Photo Gallery 1" with a camera icon next to the Final Stats link.
GO HUSKIES!!!
