Now that I realize it- CBSSN will have one of the Thursday games, likely USA @ USM. They are the primary rights holder for CUSA. Also One of HBU @ UNT or EKU @ Marshall will be CBSSN, the other likely 3:30 on NFLN.

Also ESPN is broadcasting the US Open on ESPN and ESPN 2 on Thursday 9/3 during the night. That means the game not on CBSSN will likely either be Facebook or bought by ESPN for ESPNU/ESPN+. US Open coverage continues on ESPN2 all day on Saturday 9/5.

BYU @ Navy is set for 8:00pm ESPN already. The NBA playoffs are on ABC that day, likely going to be at 3:30 and 8:30pm (possibly 1:00pm instead if needed).

South Alabama @ Southern Miss wasn't on the ESPN press release so I'm guessing that game will be on CBSSN Thursday 9/3

TV ratings will be interesting ... up because any football is better than nothing or down because 1/2 of FBS isn’t playing and mentally checked out? I thought it would be the former, but then again i tonight the NBA would have a ratings bonanza too during COVid.

Aside from possibly BYU at Navy 9/7 and maybe the 9/5 Army game just because the latter 2 games involve respected institutions >>>>>>> anything more redeeming 9/3 and a hike, yard work, Zs, etc Sat 9/5

Could have been a great boost to the program if we were in the fray. This will be another epically bad decision added to UConn Hall of Fame of misreads.
