Is the SMU game on Television today? If so, on what channel?

SNY. Geno show at 2, pregame at 2:30, game at 3! I believe it would be on Watch ESPN if you are out of the SNY area.

Thank you. I have SNY but the game is not listed in the St. Louis area.

A full afternoon/early evening (4 1/2 hours worth) of UConn WCBB on SNY:

2:00 PM: Geno Show (the new one that originally aired last night at 8)
2:30 PM: Pre-game
3:00 PM: @SMU
5:00 PM: Post-game
5:30 PM: Birth of a Dynasty

Hopefully a little extra focus on Mo in today's pre-game shows, as this should be her homecoming game.....correct?

Jim Fuller's excellent blog addresses Moriah's homecoming. A worthwhile read.

Best quote:
"Jefferson is beginning her final semester of college and much of her academic duties will center around a thesis on the positive impact of sports on youngsters as part of her individualized major." Sports as a way of keeping youngsters out of trouble and moving in positive directions. Good job, Moriah.

My senior citizen thesis would be on the positive impact of sports (UConn Women's basketball) on OLDSTERS. Specifically, my thesis would focus on the incredible Moriah Jefferson and the sheer joy and unrelenting ebullience she has shared with so many older folks over the years.

They probably figure you would much rather watch a NY v St Louis replay baseball game from 2012 than a women's sporting event live!

I have HuskyVision, but the TV broadcast is not listed here in Florida. Also, its not listed on ESPN3 (Watch ESPN). Best I can get is the audio on HuskyVision. This never happened before. I have always been able to receive all SNY broadcasts via ESPN3 (Watch ESPN) here in FL.

Mo will have 200 friends and family at the game, but only gets 15 minutes after the game to visit because UConn wants to get back home tonight.

Geno: "If Stewie is our best 3-point shooter, that's not a good sign, and right now she is."

Well, I guess this will be the second game I missed in the last couple of years.

Hope someone can post video of today's game. Another fan who can't get the game in Florida.

Anybody getting ESPN3 streaming? I still can't find it. Help??
Looks like it's only an SNY thing--I'll have to wait for UConn Husky Games to put it up in a day or two.

I would actually disagree with Geno on this - if she were shooting her career percentage prior to this year (.331) than I would agree - this year she has raised the to a fantastic .447 so I am pretty happy about that! That Moriah, Kia, and Lou are all shooting in the 300s is not great, though at least Lou and Moriah have raise their percentages considerably in the conference season to over .400. I would happy if those three players can raise their rates to around .400 by the end of the year, but certainly don't mind if Stewart continues her torrid shooting!

I wonder if this has something to do with SMU rights? The home team has some control over their broadcast rights. But I would keep checking WatchESPN as they often are very slow to post the game link.

this is at least the 2nd time this season that streaming a women's game outside the sny viewing area has not occurred....who at uconn cooridinates with sny ??? do we have any leverage?

I'll keep checking, but I can't complain either way---at least I'm down here is SWFL and not getting the major snowfall of my brother up north.

When I paid for my "Huskyvision" subscription, I expected to view all games televised by SNY. As of now, NO WOMEN'S TV games are listed on HuskyVision. This game (SMU) is not listed on ESPN3 (WatchESPN) either.

I'm currently chatting online with someone from ESPN who says he's looking into it. I'll let you all know if I hear anything.
I'm all ears, Jimbo...

No dice. His response: "Ok, so it doesn't look like its [sic] going to be on ESPN at all today. Not sure if it was a schedule change or just confusion but you may be able to contact your cable provider to see if there [sic] showing the game."

So, looks like those of us without SNY are out of luck until UConnhuskygames posts it. Sorry, everyone.
