I feel like at this point, if you’re not Netflix, Amazon or Hulu just don’t even try to do anything media related.

You are right about that. But Vice and ESPN; that's a match made in heaven, or perhaps in this case hell.

They are part of Vox. Have a high valuation because they generate loads of content and pay almost nothing. UConn Blog is part of it.

SBNation - was started as sportsblogs by a couple of A’s fans.

With no place better to put this - their podcast this week was awesome. Related bible books and people to college football teams. UConn and Pasqualoni even got play.
 
It's almost like assembling a virtual business centered around hipsters gazing at their navels in print is not a good business model.

And yet so many keep trying.
