I know many of us are concerned with the number of turnovers and assume that most are related to bad or forced passes. I just reviewed the SH game and yes there were a number of forced or bad decision passes, but reviewing the video points out another problem. Of the 22 turnovers, 6 were travel calls, 2 of which I think were flat out mistakes by the refs. Two were illegal screens, one was a 3 sec in the lane call and one was a stepped on the end line call. I guess most of these could be attributed to a degree of carelessness and that is something Geno should be able to fix through increased attention to details. Two of the passing TO's were excusable, one when Nika just overshot Lou on a breakaway and one when AAliyah was passing the ball to AP who turned her back as the pass was being made. Both of those were understandable, especially when you are as aggressive on offense as this team is (30 assists on 38 FG's).
