Anyone who watched the game or looked at the box score could tell that a deciding factor were all the turnovers. Missing a bucket full of missed FTs didn't help. Defending the 3 wasn't good either. They were shooting it over 60% at one point.

The good was Adams finally showed up, and showed up big. He carried the team down the stretch.

I would have liked to see how well we could have played with OSU with Alterique handling the pressure.

I still think they're going to be a very tough out by the end of the season if they can get healthy and continue to develop as a team. I think some of these young freshmen are going to develop a lot of confidence as the season goes on. Just like Adams seemed to break out finally, I think it'll be a matter of time when Purvis begins to play up to his potential.
 
It's possible that Purvis was feeling the weight of this game all year so far with how much it meant to him and now has the monkey off his back.
