If the starters are this worn down already on January 16, what's it going to be like come March 16?
Lou hasn't even attempted to run a curl. A curl requires energy and effort. Not only by you, but your teammates. Standing at the 3 point line doesn't. Now, has she scored well in the first half? Yes and yes. But the overall lack of energy by the team is evident. More so on defense.Lou is taking what the defense is giving her.
I realize this is a relative smackdown, but Tulsa is by far the worst team in the AAC (5-12 overall).
Seems like Saniya had more assists then 2
I don't know what this Dickson kid has done the rest of the season. But she just put up 15 points in a single half against UConn. So the kid's got something.
It has been a long road trip.If the starters are this worn down already on January 16, what's it going to be like come March 16?
They are college kids and not professionals or robots. As 18-19-20 year olds away from school for a week, they still have to worry about their academics. They have more responsibilities than just playing basketball. Also consider this team hasn't worn home whites since Dec. 1st. All the travel takes a toll. The Huskies have two consecutive games on the road, setting a new winning streak record along the way. They have to be mentally exhausted as well as physically tired.
I'd also like to remind folks that Late January-early February is the time players are start to get nagging aches and pains and young players hit the wall. Its easy for us to sit on our couches and complain about the team but there's no way we can know how emotionally fatigued and beat up they are.
