Carla's Tufts team advanced into the D3 sweet 16 with wins this weekend against Regis (61-49) and Moravian (65-45). They play Friday night in Scranton against Albright.

#7 Tufts upset undefeated #3 Scranton 57-48 to advance to the semifinals next weekend in Columbus, OH. They will face unranked Wartburg (IA) which continued its cinderella run.
The other semi will feature defending champ #1 Thomas More (KY) vs #4 Amherst.

Amherst also got its men into the final 4 by winning at Tufts. While #1 Augustana fell.

You would have to think that the Jumbos would be favored over cinderella Wartburg.

And Amherst is a pretty good team, losing to Tufts by one point in the regular season,
and beating Tufts by one point in the NESCAC tournament. I think they have a shot at
upsetting No. 1 Thomas More.
